PowerMax Power Tools - Web Site Design, Content Management system for language translation..

POWERMAX offers a full line of cordless, corded and benchtop power tools sold exclusively at Wal-Mart Canada. This site will feature an English and French version. A Content Management System will allow the translators to log in an administrative area and enter the content on-line using very simple text forms. As with all of our CMS systems, no technical knowledge is required to modify content on the web site.

Positec is a world leader in power tools and outdoor equipment that satisfy the
needs of both demanding do-it-yourselfers and professional craftsmen..

The Positec web site features an English and German version. The main site is in English. Translating the Positec site was going to be a challenge as we decided not to use the online translation services.

Our solution was to do actual language translation by humans from the native areas. To keep it simple we created a Content Management System for Positec so their translators can log in to an administrative area on the Positec web site and enter their language translations online via web forms. This is a perfect solution as we do not have to exchange html pages to the translators, not knowing if the translator is going to be comfortable working in html or if they even have the software to work with web pages.

The translators can now log on to the Positec web site, enter their text and update the web page dynamically. This speeds up the translation process considerably, and makes it extremely easy for everyone involved. This also allows Positec to update their content at any time, using the Content Management System.

Koke's site features a full functional events calendar which allows Koke to enter her booking and event schedules online. Now her fan base can get current event information directly from her site. We also implemented a Media Center for Koke so she can showcase some of her music, videos & photos.
